  1. Bravo and well said!! Thanks for sharing this video :)

  2. What she said!! This lady stated the very facts that infuriated me ever since I had that "a-ha" moment about Kody & Krew. This show on TLC is downright deceitful and shouldn't be pulling on the heartstrings of non-thinking people. This new baby will make his 16th illegitimate child. How can "religious" folks sleep at night knowing their whole lifestyle is built around abusing the system. That system barely survives as it is from the folks that pay taxes and don't repeatedly have children they cannot afford. I mean, seriously, think about what Kody is doing. Seventeen children ... four wives ... and multiple bankruptcies. How selfish can one man be?

  3. I don't know if this is true or not but if it is the Brown need to take care of their own debit instead of making the tax payers do it for them.

  4. I wish the poster would talk more about her experiences as a "fifth generation polygamist." I might check out her other videos on you Tube.

    VERY interesting and well stated.

  5. Who is this lady? Where did she come from? Who is her target audience and who will see this video?

I'm pretty sure she got all this information straight from this blog lol. Clearly all the info is out there, but MS and CJ and some of the other excellent researchers have really done a good job laying it out all.

I thought we said Robyn had filed a bankruptcy after her divorce? And just with Meri and Christine's bankruptcy they were cleared of $100,000 worth of debt!!! No wonder America is collapsing financially.

    ReplyDelete
  6. GREAT! I would bet $1000 it came straight from here, but they would never say.

    Amazing job, all of you!

  7. "A Day Ahead said.....No wonder America is collapsing financially."

Then think of the silly folks with rose colored glasses on the FB going, Let's all pitch in $5 so they can eat out AGAIN!
    Makes me sick.

All they had to do was to be honest and say, yes, we've done poorly in the past, the ways of our fathers, but want to change that. And that would of been that. but instead, they lie...
yeah, clipping coupons is how they do it!

  8. Hey, I think we have the most honest, comprehensive blog on the Sister Wives, and I am proud to be a part of it!!

I think she got some help from here, I am just glad she did it, maybe she will reach other folks from another genre and it will help!

  9. This woman is Rebecca Kimbel, she is a reporter from California. She is an ex member of the AUB and a sister of Irene Spencer. To see Rebecca's story go to the Polygamy : What Love is This ? website. Check the online episodes and you will find an interview that Doris Hanson did with her within the past year.

  12. Im not sure if my comment posted but When I saw that twitter from the daughter I knew to post it on here. If her ob never changed her due yes she is way over due but for instance my obgyn changed my due date 3times and if We would of stuck with my orig due date I would of been way over due i would of been 44 weeks but when I gave birth they said I was only 40 weeks. It always seemed crazy to me that I was only 40 weeks when I gave birth and my child was 8 pounds almost pushing 9 but they said I was only 40 weeks but I think doctors make mistakes cause I think i was way over 40 if they would of stuck with my orig due date. So I was just wondering if maybe they did that to robyn alot of ppl go thru the same thing i did with doctors changing there due date alot!

  14. It sounds to me like maybe she is in labor and will be having the baby soon.

  15. So somehow this lady is related to Christine then correct, although distantly? Irene Spencer's uncle is Christine's grandfather....so they are 2nd cousins maybe? Hmm interesting. Granted with huge families like this keep track of your siblings is probably exhausting enough; you'd never have any hope of knowing your cousins.

It really is legitemately upsetting that people want to give these liars money when there are SO MANY worthy causes out there. Yet you want to ensure they can go out to eat? That's ridiculous. Many people in America have miserably skewed versions of what poverty looks like. No one living in poverty has a flat screen TV, 4 homes, at least 4 cars and vacations. That's not poverty. In fact, living without these things still isn't poverty. Poverty is about not having enough food, being exposed to the elements, etc. UGH UGH UGH.

    ReplyDelete
  16. But how can they be off a total of 5 1/2 weeks? That's a stretch

  17. TLC will protect the Browns. TLC is giving them the "storyline" that they are a family that wants the live together and loves each other and has been torn apart. After watching the The Gosselin fisaco, there are sheeple for every show. TLC hid Jon and Kate smoking, the nannies, and the boduguard for years. Now even when people know Kate has money, they are still sending her gifts(she got free IPADS last week from a fan). Even though sister wives started out with some viewers being suscipoius , it will still take a few more seasons before the masses discover what we see here.

I'm still confused about the baby news. I wonder which magazine Kody will sell the pictures to?

  18. I volunteer at my local food bank. Some of my clients don't even have a can opener so I try to find them foods that can be used with minimum items. Some are living "on the beach" and camping and have no address. They need help SO much more than the Browns. It really hurts me to see the Browns get what they get and the money they must make compared to the people that I deal with where I work. The ones I work with really need help and are so thankful. They are the best.

Love this blog! Thank you for putting the truth about these people out there. Is there really a donation fund for them to go out to eat? The nerve of these people is astonishing! If I was on a reality show (being paid and receiving comps) and fans wanted to send me money or gifts I would direct them to a charity I liked to support. The baby gifts, house funds ugh I am disgusted they would accept and saddened that people (who let's be real probably can't afford it in this economy) want to give money to paid tv personalities. Why not help someone in your own community that isn't being sent on a 17 day trip by TLC. If they insist on helping these people how about a college fund for the teens b/c with the way "A-list celeb" Kody is whipping through that money I highly doubt any TLC funds are being set aside. He deserves it you know!

  20. I think TLC has figured out that ROBYN is not the wife to spotlight anymore-that she turns everyone off.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wow...this proves my points about polygamists!

Essentially, I have NO PROBLEM with those who wish to practice this lifestyle. But for GOD'S SAKE, pay your own way in life!!! The Browns aren't good old tax paying folk. No. They're grifters who USE social services and legal avenues to finance their lifestyle. Remember...the Bible says, "Niether a borrow nor a lender be."

    VERY GOOD EYE OPENER!

    ReplyDelete
  22. So Robyn & Kody, the ones having the baby are NOT on food stmaps. What a misleading title to your video.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I watched the whole video. You said that Robyn & Kody went from food stamps to fame. That was your opening liner. But listening to what you said, you never corroborated your opening line. You went on to say how the other wives filed for bankruptcy & how some were on food stamps. But never that Robyn & Kody were on food stamps. Also, you failed to mention that the bulk of the debt, that was credit card debt, very well COULD have been for medical reasons. People put medical bills on credit cards all the time. And it's the #1 reason for filing bankruptcy. My point is, your video was not unbiased, it had a misleading title and didn't provide complete information.

    1. Good point I had a lot of medical bills and had to have 10 surgeries in 3 yrs. and even with some insurance it was just too much and without really understanding about making payments to the hospitals, etc. I would just put it on credit cards so that I could go to my PT appts, etc and I had to file bankruptcy and it looked like credit card debt and it was but it was mostly hospital and gas for the car, I was having to drive 2 hrs. one way, 3 days a week to see the dr and go to PT so over 4 hrs. in the car that's a big gas bill.

  24. What are you guys talking about?
Christine and Robyn were both on welfare when the first season of Sister Wives was filming!

Which means, Kody had an advantage, wouldn't you say?

And, read the Bankruptcy papers yourself. They are not medical, they are purchases.

  25. SMH! Well, I hope they're at least using the TLC money to save up for the futures of all those kids.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey - she tells it like it is!
WE need to help her, she doesn't have a lot of views, please watch. She seems to want to help the world see polygamy for what it is.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Peanut Butter Fritos .... Hahahaha .... I knew somebody would eventually use that as a name! I almost used it myself! Thx for a chuckle this morning.

As far as food stamps... If the Kody has children using them, even if they're illegitimate, everyone in the big ole family benefits including the bird wife. Plus Robyn has been on food stamps as well. If you wanna believe Kody and Krew at this point then hey just believe them.

I think what taxpayers in society are tired of are folks who use the system as a way of life and continue to have children they clearly cannot afford, which ends up on the backs of the rest of us. This cannot be a God pleasing way of life. The KBF has misled the audience in
many ways and viewers are starting to see thru the smoke and mirrors put forth by them on TLC.

    1. Totally agree, I have a 'friend' of a friend and she has 4 children and she doesn't give it a second thought as soon as the stick gives her a positive, she literally leaves her house and drives over to DSS and signs up for medicaid and WIC and she is now talking about having another and I just literally had to bite my tongue, but I regret not telling that she and her husband had no business having any more children when they can't afford to pay the dr.'s or the hospital or food, etc.. I think that if we are the ones paying for their kids then we should have the right to tell them that they can't have anymore children on medicaid...that medicaid isn't an insurance plan, it's there to help out people as an emergency and it's only available for just a short while!

  28. The first 3 1/2 months of your annual salary goes to taxes. That means we've been working our asses off while these grifters sit around their pools, shop, work with their personal trainer and make more babies. I'm all for extending a helping hand for those that legitimately need it, but this is outrageous.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Poolqueen, I have heard for a long time that we don't hit the tax free day until sometime in May. It may be a different way of calculating taxes but that's what I've heard for a long time. Everything you make after May something is yours. Everything before is the governments and the grifters.

  30. The Kody Brown that is a computer programmer in Salt Lake is not the Kody Brown on Sister Wives. His business has not failed. If you search for him on Google you will find his facebook page where he says "No, I am not that Kody Brown."

I would have to think that whoever the woman is that made this video got most of her information from Starcasm and the tabloids.

  31. Hey Border Collie, it's even worse than I thought! I would like to hear more from the lady that made that video.

Sissey, that's really cool that U volunteer ur time to the less fortunate... I commend U for u for being a true humanitarian...KBF could definitely take some pointers from U :)

  33. Doris Hanson ROCKS!! she is one classy lady plus a savior in her help to plyg women wanting to escape. Her website is fantastic and the interviews are ALWAYS interesting.

the two most recent ones i've watched were the incredible artist Kaziah Hancock (the goat woman) who escaped polygamy. what a wasted life for her for so many years. Now, she's out and paints the most beautiful oil portratits of fallen soldiers and gifts them to their family for FREE!!

the other one was with the mom and son featured on the recent documentray Sons of Perdition. Joe and Jorjina Broadbent. it takes incredible courage and tenacity to escape this hellacious religion.

Doris Hancock, Flora and Carolyn Jessop are like the Mother Theresa's of Polygamy Escapees. both for the women and the lost boys.

  34. Very interesting interview with Irene Spencer, sad really. While listening to her I could see many aspects of the Brown's lives that very closly mimic what she was saying. When she states that all these fundamentalists groups are closely entwined, to me it is obvious. A little research will show you they are all related, not the groups, but the actual people themselves, the same names all over. I work with abuse women and am well aware of how fear can completely control someone. Such mental abuse. A man a God? Please, this is nothing but blasphemy. A guise made by man to feed his ego and desires. Pathetic. Alternative lifestyle? Right. Just like that polygirl blog, what a bunch hooey. And what a bunch of hooey, all she talks about is the physical side of their unions for the most part. She is desperately lacking something. What's with those facebook fans of these people? They literally foam at the mouth for this family, worship them almost, sickening. I have followed sister wives from the inception, tried to keep an open mind, but as time goes on it's just a shame.

  35. I think we readers should all commit to donating an item (or more if you can afford) to a food pantry this month. Instead of all this stupid donating tot he browns, lets counter it by donating to worthy causes local to us! I have some peanut butter I can give to the pantry at church.

    Who is next?

  36. Rebecca Kimbel is a crusader for women and children trapped and abused in polygamy.

Google her and read what she has written. It is very powerful and enlightening.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Excellent. I ENCOURAGE everyone to watch this and not skip over it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Very enlightening, I appreciated getting to see this.

Does it really matter if this blog gave her the info, or another one; no one of her reputation would speak out if she didn't have the facts. The facts that those poor people that think they are A o.k. and needing gifts need to hear. They will always want more and abuse what they have with an almost childishness abandon.

4 bankruptcies? And Christine has the NERVE to say SHE deserves a new home? Really? Maybe the factory worker that pays your taxes and higher prices because of you does.

They are Bleeding the Higher Beast now. Can you imagine how they nag TLC?

    ReplyDelete
  39. 4 Bankruptcies that we KNOW of.
God knows how many more. And BOTH parents of Meri and Kody? And Christine's dad, how many more???
My gosh, they think it's ok. to do this.

I lost my credit years ago. Everyone said to file, I refused. Years later I got everyone paid off, but being late crunched my credit.
And I am happier! If I buy, I pay,Got everyone taken care of, and didn't file on other people.

These guys of course don't want the LEGAL marriage- how could they file every year?????
How could they say they were single mothers at the welfare office?????
GRIFTERS is the oly word that comes to mind.

  40. Rebecca Kimbrel - if you read these, maybe you could share with us sometime what to say to a polygamist that
    1. says they are monogomous
    2. says well, they aren't doing underage or pre arrainged marriages.
    3. how do fight what the Browns like to tell?

I'd love to hear your story.

  43. WOW...just read this post. Found it disturbing and a bit of a turn off. Geez, now I have to find a new favorite show! I really liked this one, too!! Renting three NICE houses in Vegas, driving a $60K sports car and three bankruptcies/food stamps. My questions: 1) What was Kody Brown AND the wives' incomes for 2011? 2) Are any of the wives still receiving food stamps or other government benefits? I would be surprised (pleasantly so) if the answer was no as to government benefits. 3)Is the income from TLC paid to a holding company or directly to the family? 4) Has Kody or the wives commented about the bankruptcies? I just find it a big turn off. The wives seemed nice. However, I'm no fool, and I don't want to participate (by viewing) in what feels like folks trying to scam the government, the taxpayer or me. It is irresponsible to have children you cannot afford. People fall on hard times, of course, but what does your faith say about providing for your family? Perhaps polygamy should embrace multiple husbands so they can add a few more incomes to this household (or more income producing sister wives). Goodbye, Sister Wives. It was fun while it lasted!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Goodbye is Sister Wives! You people disgust me! I use to think you were okay people but after reading the bankruptcy's with every wife, food stamps and God know what else I think you all need to get a clue. I read Kody and Meri, Kody and Janelle's bankrupt papers and they had liabilities of $230,000! They seem to go out to eat whenever they want, have gym memberships, Kody has an expensive car, 4 houses, parties, new furniture, etc. One thing they don't seem to know is how to do is pay their bills. Irresponsible people! What are they teaching their children? If you want to have this lifestyle fine, but take care of yourselves and quit milking the government!

  45. Christine is the only sister wive that 'get's it'....remember a couple of older shows, one at home and one out shopping, where Robyn got so jealous she freaked out and she made sure she became #1 and forever... 1.) she made sure Meri thought she was special and that Robyn loved her 2.) she told Kody that her parents had a 42 year honeymoon...thus the constant endearing stares...dropping everything the minute Kody walks in....Christine, Meri and Janelle...go lose the weight, get slim, get some cute clothes, fix your hair and makeup otherwise you might as well get used to being last choice...
