I saw some comments, and wanted to put them all in one spot for easier reading. I hope this connects the dots for some of you, and if you still have questions, tell me and I will review the tapes again. Meri's response to getting fired was based on her lie of polygamy, not prosecution. I answered that on that post by reviewing the tape and transcribing it. People are trying to figure out why they moved, from what they have said and emailed!
I presently haven't found where Robyn said she planned on never moving again; I will post if I do, I know she said it somewhere! UPDATE! FOUND IT! It was on TLC's "Sister Wives Answers Your Questions" Post:
BUT ALSO CHRISTINE:
I love it here, and my older children, ASPYN, MYKELTI, and PAEDON have all commented that they love living in Vegas and would really struggle if we decided to move back.
Where they all say, NO, WE DID NOT MOVE BECAUSE OF THE INVESTIGATIONS. NO they planned this long before. watch this clip:
Brown -- who was at the center of the felony bigamy investigation in Utah -- shouldn't face as much scrutiny for his living situation in Nevada ... where cohabitation between a man and his unlicensed "wives" is not a crime.
Brown family attorney Jonathan Turley tells us neither Kody nor his wives have been hit with any charges stemming from the Utah investigation. As for the move -- we're told the fam should be on the road in the next few days.
LEHI — A polygamous Lehi family featured on the reality show "Sister Wives" has moved to Nevada. Kody Brown, his four wives and 16 children left Utah to pursue new opportunities, said their attorney Jonathan Turley.
Jonathon Turley himself:
"The Browns moved without any charges pending, Turley said. "In the past, state officials have made it clear to polygamous families in Utah that they would not proceed against them absent evidence of some collateral crime such as child abuse," he said. "No such crimes were found in the Brown family after an extensive field investigation."Turley lauded the county attorney's office for showing "commendable judgment and discretion" in the case." Confused? I am.
OPEN QUESTION TO THE BROWNS - Why did you move?
I presently haven't found where Robyn said she planned on never moving again; I will post if I do, I know she said it somewhere! UPDATE! FOUND IT! It was on TLC's "Sister Wives Answers Your Questions" Post:
How do you see your family in the future - is Las Vegas a permanent move? - Dawn K.
ROBYN: Las Vegas better be permanent! I want to settle, put down some roots and make a nest for our family especially now that I am pregnant.BUT ALSO CHRISTINE:
I love it here, and my older children, ASPYN, MYKELTI, and PAEDON have all commented that they love living in Vegas and would really struggle if we decided to move back.
Robyn Brown (wife No. 4) also said they wanted to make a political point. "It's OK for us to live this way, honestly. I'm sorry, but this is a nation of freedom of choice," Robyn Brown declared on National Public Radio. "We should have this choice, and I want my kids to know that."
Robyn, S02E11 “It will be nice to be in this house more than 6 months.”
Now, I have issue with that. She lived in the other house a good year and a half, and NEVER decorated it. Did anyone else notice how bare it was? Did she know the plan?
YOU need to watch this clip again. The whole thing
Kody: THAT”S NOT THE REASON WE MOVED, watch them talk about how they afford it. (http://sisterwivesblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/kody-brown-make-up-your-damn-mind.html)
Christine Brown (and ANNE WILDE) isn’t afraid to sit in the same room as the Attorney General and admit she’s a polygamist.
QUESTION: So you want to be charged. CHRISTINE: "BRING IT ON KIND OF, YEAH" This was so pre planned!!! And she talks of needed a family to spotlight hmmmm.
On the show, they said TMZ were camped out and going to give them a day. Here's what they said to them:
'Sister Wives' Fam -- We're Moving to Nevada!! 1/18/2011 5:45 AM PST by TMZ Staff (Courtesy of TMZ)
"Sister Wives" polygamist Kody Brown is gonna need a whole LOTTA moving trucks ... 'cause the man with 4 wives and 19 kids is moving his entire family out of the state of Utah ... TMZ has learned. Sources close to the Brown's -- all 24 of 'em -- tell us Kody will be moving the gang to Nevada so he and his wives can "explore new job opportunities."Brown -- who was at the center of the felony bigamy investigation in Utah -- shouldn't face as much scrutiny for his living situation in Nevada ... where cohabitation between a man and his unlicensed "wives" is not a crime.
Brown family attorney Jonathan Turley tells us neither Kody nor his wives have been hit with any charges stemming from the Utah investigation. As for the move -- we're told the fam should be on the road in the next few days.

OPEN QUESTION TO THE BROWNS - Why did you move?
Why would they say the move on national TV for business and they wanted to;and make 5 episodes about fear?

How do you know the Browns are lying ? Their lips are moving !
ReplyDeleteMaybe there's more to the story than you know. They are working hard for their children, not themselves.
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep up with all of this? Very good analysis. Why, they are moving out of FEAR. The want some FUN!
ReplyDeleteREMEMBER, MS, Janelle informed us they were planning to start a home based business in Las Vegas using all that Retirement money, all $1900 of it! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am expecting a home business that is some major deal, just remember, $1900.
Man, that Anne Wilde is scary looking. Is she rich? What is her power? I think the mirror says "I'm so happy about it" and tlaking abou the move. I think her dad is in Vegas and her sister.
ReplyDeleteMoving for business, suing for the right to live they want to. Fine, but what about all the other perverts and doors they are opening they are not even thinking about? Have they even considered that?
ReplyDeleteWhen you have to underline "Happy" twice it means you are having a hard time swallowing the koolaid!
ReplyDeleteAnd that post "working for the children" - why is that?
Is welfare on to your scam?
Anne Wilde is wearing PURPLE, so is ROBYN. Meri is in Access Hollywood, it's a conspiracy! I love you....
ReplyDeleteAnd I suppose there's another side to this? I feel one coming up.....
ReplyDeleteThis really underlines the duplicity, and the agenda that has been there from the beginning. Thanks for bringing this to light!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great work!
ReplyDeleteI would be really mad if I were Robyn's landlord. Was that lipstick she used on the wall? Or was it on the mirror. Still from the height that had to be an adult who did that. Who would write on a wall (or mirror)???
ReplyDeleteThey like to write on walls. Remember Janelle's house? This looks like it's written on a wall. Wish I could figure out what it says! Anyone? Help!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it says " I am so happy about it."
ReplyDeleteCannot read the sentence above it. Looks like lipstick.
Yeah, happy about the move she's bawling about.
ReplyDeleteHYPOCRITE. I HATE Christine telling us they just want to tell the truth. WHY didn't they just start the season out this was what they were fighting for?
HERE THAT MOVING FOR BUSINESS. I'm no lawyer, couldn't this be used in court?
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing is a joke and will be thrown out.
BUT, will the next one?
I think it could be used in court. It was said MANY times after the move. They need better handlers.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever met Anne Wilde? She looks like someone you could not have a conversation that included both sides.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I found this site. interesting.
ReplyDeleteIf they kept Anne in the Background, then it might not scare everyone away. Jesus had three wives? BLASHPEMY!
ReplyDeleteI THOUGHT THAT JESUS WAS MADE FROM GOD, LIKE GOD, SINLESS IN ALL WAYS. NO MENTION OF HIM HAVING A MARRIAGE, MUCH LESS 3. SHOW ME THAT IN THE BIBLE. GEEZ! THESE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HELL FOR SAYING THAT, UNLESS THEY ASK FORGIVENESS FROM GOD, NOT jOSEPH sMITH.
ReplyDelete"Anonymous said...When you have to underline "Happy" twice it means you are having a hard time swallowing the koolaid! And that post "working for the children" - why is that? Is welfare on to your scam?"
ReplyDeleteWhat are you referring to?
WHAT did she write on the bathroom wall??? I've tried to enhance it, anyone?
ReplyDeleteAre they all giddy now they moved, since the news today? GRRRRRRRR
Out of curiosity I went and poked the Utah state site and found this polygamy release @ the AG. The AG's office clearly states that they have decided to overlook polygamy in general and just focus on abuse that occurs in communities. In essence, the Utah AG has given polygamy a huge free pass. I think Utah and other Safety Net states need to remove all polygamist from Safety Net or create a totally independent entity. The people and groups involved with Safety net have too much of a history and have agendas. They are all too far too involved in polygamy. Too much blood on their hands to be allowed to be part of it imo.
ReplyDeleteSo why again did Kody think he had to flee off to Vegas. Kody is either guilty of some abuse or totally full of it and as much as a goof as he is we have no evidence of abuse so I am sticking with Kody is totally full of it! There was no way the AG was ever going to pursue Kody. At most the AG was attempting to placate public complaints to save face.

Polygamy
Polygamy is illegal in Utah and forbidden by the Arizona constitution. However, law enforcement agencies in both states have decided to focus on crimes within polygamous communities that involve child abuse, domestic violence and fraud. The Utah Attorney General's Office and the Arizona Attorney General's Office also worked together to produce "The Primer---Helping Victims of Domestic Violence and Child Abuse in Polygamous Communities." This manual provides basic information about various polygamous communities that will assist human services professionals, law enforcement officers and others in helping victims from these communities. The Primer will be updated regularly to reflect modifications in the law and changes in each organization's beliefs and practices. Click here to read or print the latest PDF version of The Primer.
If you are a victim of domestic violence or abuse and need immediate help, please call Utah's free, confidential Linkline at 1-800-897-LINK (5465).
Safety Net Committee
The Safety Net Committee began in 2003 and currently holds monthly meetings in Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah, Colorado City, Arizona and Creston, British Columbia. Government agencies, non-profits and interested individuals work together to insure that people associated with the practice of polygamy have the same educational opportunities and access to justice, safety and services as the general public. This is done through a coordinated effort to open communication, break down barriers and accomplish these original goals: provide training and develop materials for public awareness; reduce isolation, secrecy, abuses of power and crime; and find ways to provide access and education to members of polygamous communities. More information can be found in The Primer.

I've tried to no avail!
ReplyDeleteJanelle answers a tough accusation on Twitter:
ReplyDeleteI am sorry pot holes and road construction? I don't remember seeing much in lieu of road work. I guess I need to review that episode!

Great post and the video you linked to was hilarious. You provide a valuable service to the Internets.
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteAnytime you want to join in and write a post, holler!
I love reading all these old posts, I am going through each one by one. What a sham the Browns have turned out to be. No solid family. Liars. No solid religion. 'nuff said. Thanks for all the work you do.
