Today we not only discuss the show, we discuss Polygamy in our society, and the public perceptions of the Mormon Religion. We discuss "Polygamy USA" and will be covering "My 5 Wives."

CHRISTINE SAYS A LIFE LIVED IN FEAR IS A LIFE HALF LIVED.. KEEP THIS IN MIND, WE'LL DISCUSS THAT "FEAR IN MY NEXT POST. THEY NOW SPEAK OUT AGAINST UNDERAGE MARRIAGES.
Notice the duplicity of the Brown family. Christine acknowledges on this video that the Attorney General of Utah is not interested in prosecuting polygamists, yet her family would have us believe that they left Utah to escape potential prosecution by the Attorney General of Utah. The duplicity of these people and their recurrent lies are simply amazing.
I don't understand all you people that want to come on here and tear these people down. they are a loving family who care for their children and thats all that should matter. who are you to say how others can live their lives. if you don't agree with the way these people live then don't live like them, thats your right to live how you feel is right for you. but you have no right to make these people feel bad for them living the way they feel is right for them. so if you don't like it don't watch the damn show and don't become a polygamist. period ending.
Wow. So Christine says "bring it on!" about being prosecuted. That she isn't scared of the atty general. Guess she has done a 180 on that.
What bugs me about this is that it proves they lied. Nearly every episode they whine about how scared they were to "come out" and how no one in town knew they were living plural marriage. Um. Christine was in the NEWS, willingly talking to reporters.
I wanted to believe them and kind of feel sorry for them. But I find it hard to work up sympathy for perpetual liars.
Wow, they seem.... more innocent now it's all woop woop! in a way. I can empthazied if they were continuing with their religion, but religion is gone, Kody party is on. No wonder Christine is upset.
Interesting how in the latest episode when the kids went to help people leave the flds Christine said " I didn't know men could be such bastards". Clearly she did as in the video she says "we don't support underage marriage".
So much for the Browns to be the example and face the music......Run Forrest, Run!

Despite that, I still like Meri and Janelle.
The only one I like on this show is Meri and I can't help but wonder why on earth she is mixed up with this bunch.
