FLDS Tear Down Recently Constructed Tower at Texas Ranch Read more: KCSG Television - FLDS Tear Down Recently Constructed Tower at Texas Ranch

(Eldorado, TX) - A 10-story building built by Warren Jeffs' followers in Texas that was completed last week has since been demolished.

Judge James Doyle has been flying over the Yearning for Zion Ranch for years, documenting an enormous amount of FLDS construction work. A year ago, aerial photos showed the start of the tower construction, using expensive heavy- duty steel and concrete. Last week, The Eldorado Success newspaper photographed what appeared to be a large air control or watch tower on FLDS property. But Thursday, when Doyle flew over the ranch, it was gone.

"We flew out this morning and we made a circle and sure enough, as you saw, it was all destroyed," Doyle said.

Outside of the FLDS group that constructed the massive building, nobody can explain its purpose or why it was torn down just a week after its completion.

"And it was massive. Gosh, it had 4-foot thick walls on it," said Author and Private Investigator Sam Brower. "Everybody was trying to figure out what it was. Nobody really knew what was going on."

Mysteriously, construction stopped late last year, and last month, construction suddenly resumed at a frantic pace. Doyle said he thinks FLDS people worked around the clock in late June and early July.

The Eldorado Success photos show it completed, with an observation platform on top. Some believe it was a watchtower to keep an eye out for Texas Rangers.

"I don't know, they're paranoid that they're going to launch an attack from the outside," Doyle said. "But we're pretty sure they're more or less watching the inside to make sure everyone is working as hard as they can work. … And maybe to prevent some of the younger people from escaping."

Doyle said it is not conceivable that the tower in Texas simply collapsed by itself. He told KSL he saw heavy equipment that the FLDS people used to tear it down. Brower believes Jeffs was involved, though.
"The one thing I do know is that they wouldn't have built it and they wouldn't have torn it down without Warren Jeffs' OK," Brower said.

  1. That is so weird....I wonder what is going on here....do you think maybe there was a prophecy tied to it that Warren Jeffs realized he had to cover his tracks on so ordered it destroyed?? If so, then I imagine we will see it rebuilt....I feel so badly for the people trapped in Jeffs' FLDS cult....that is a whole different kind of sick and dysfunction. In comparison, the Browns look like the Brady Bunch.

    1. I agree we cannot in any way compare the Browns to this scary bunch. How awful to be born into this cult.

  2. What a huge mystery. Im really want to know what the hell they are doing. If I lived close Id sneak in there. Might be a bad idea, but Id still do it lol Do you think they kill intruders? Im betting this tower mystery is weirder than any speculation we come up with.

    1. I think they would kill intruders. They probably wouldn't walk up and shoot you on the street. But if they caught you on their compound alone.they could wack you and no one would know.

  3. Some theories.
    1. A test of loyalty. After demanding grueling hours to complete this guard tower, Warren wants to know if the faithful will obey his demands to destroy it (without complaint.)
    2. Warren is insane and has received a "revelation" telling him to destroy it. (Maybe it is polluted by all those nasty "gentiles" flying over it and taking pics!)
    3. Someone else is calling the shots and is going up against Warren.
    4. Some small detail was wrong and Warren told them to start again and get it right this time.
    5. It was getting too close to heaven and like the Tower of Babel needed to be destroyed by the almighty, i.e. Warren Jeffs.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

    1. LMAO! That's Exactly what I was going to post.Ex aub wife. The minute I read the article. The old movie from the 70's popped into my head. I wonder if they are still speaking the same language.

    2. Ex AUB wife I think you are right. So hard for us that were not even aware of these extreme groups until lately.

  4. Interesting,ex AUB,
It appears really strange and so like Jeffs is going mad. They should ot allow hm to communicate in jail.

  5. This. Is something. Even Sam Brower doesn,t get the mesning? could it be to show his power? sad to say, more will come if we don,t pray for pesce for the innocent in there. I hope we hear from some close to this sitation.

    1. Yes, I am concerned for these people too. Those who have stayed through all the insanity and depravity are likely to be willing to obey any of Warren's crazed commands. That is scary. Mass suicide is most definitely not out of the question.

  6. Does anyone know if FLDS are like the people in Waco? Do they have weapons and stuff? Or do they just use innocent kittens?

    1. I have read reports they have plenty of weapons, money, etc.

    2. Footupkodysass: I think that the FLDS are far worse than the Branch Davidians. David Koresh was an evil egomaniac, but he had nothing on Warren Jeffs. While it's correct that there were unproven allegations that Koresh himself had relations with two underage girls, it does not appear that his group at large married off their underage girls as a common practice. Janet Reno herself admitted later that the accusations of child abuse had been exaggerated by her department during the stand-off.

    3. Yes, that was a disaster. The Branch Davidians had a an astronomical amount of arsonal, which was disturbing. Also blundered was the FLDS raid. After reading all the above/in the news, makes you wonder WHY they would even consider allowing to change the laws so the Browns can be happy.

  7. I'm guessing it was to keep watch over the compound--to keep people from escaping and to kill intruders. Then when it was discovered, Jeffs had it destroyed. But I'm guessing it'll be rebuilt. This cult will definitely go the way of the Waco or Heaven's Gate cults, mark my words. Pity the poor children in it. :(

    1. It was well known they were building the Tower since the beginning. Judge James Doyle flies over and checks the compound, I would assume many other groups do, too. Jeffs could have FED a lot of his group instead of soaking food stamps or got the medical care with that money.

    2. "Jeffs could have FED a lot of his group instead of soaking food stamps or got the medical care with that money."

Isn't that the truth. This scenario of keeping the flock contained and dependent on whatever edicts are proclaimed and enforced makes one wonder just how bad it really is in these compounds ?!?!

It would be a such a horrible tragedy to find out *after the fact.*

  8. Comprehensive photos of the Yearning for Zion ranch are on this site (check the archives). This page has many shots of the tower-down.

The site also contains blog spots re. YFZ ranch, FLDS and polygamy, and a healthy set of related links.

    Enjoy!

  9. Were I a religious cult leader, and if I happened to have my church-followers build a tower like that one, then the most likely reason I personally would blow the brand new thing up would be so I could blame it on an attack by the evil outsiders, thus conveniently reinforcing a healthy fear and hatred of the godless outsiders.

    1. My computer keeps messing off, must get off but wanted to add, I agree with all who believe it was a fear tactic. The evil men who are doing this know whats going on. If he ordered to have the tower blown to smithereens, might of scared some innocents to death.

  10. These people are not like the Branch Davidians, there is no comparison whatsoever. The ATF set up the Branch Davidians to do a raid and film it to get more funding for their dept. It was an epic fail.

  11. No knowlege on law enforcement here, reguardless, who are these special 15 men, and are they the ones that carry out such destruction? A massive, organized, event needs to take place, not like the fiasco of taking women and children. the men need to be taken, seperate the good from the bad, controlers, and essentially deprogram the ones that are innocent. THAT will never happen. unfortunatly.

  12. 2 in a row? I don't know much about the F.L.D.S - besides them taking the children away, and what I've read here. Getting weird.

  13. Where in the hell do they get the money to build these massive things, 4 foot thick?

  14. Looks like the tower the aliens (Kyrptonians) started building to eventually change the Sun's rays IN ORDER TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD on the now cancelled SMALLVILLE (the CW)... does this lunatic think he is an alien?

    ReplyDelete
  15. When you look at the structure of the building, and see they didn't use explosives (no burnt spots, etc., how would they be capable of getting that down in a day? Wish we had more men on here, maybe a construction one! Steel and concrete, amazing, sad, and a waste.

  16. Also bizarre is that they are building a HUGE amphitheater at the same time. Pictures can be seen here: http://fox13now.com/2012/07/19/mysterious-flds-tower-completed-then-destroyed/

I wonder if that will be torn down immediately after completion as well?

    1. That amphitheater scares me even more than the construction and destruction of the tower. I can't explain it, but something about that structure makes me shudder. It has an ominous feeling to it--at least for me it does.

The control Jeffs has over these people is incredible. The CIA's Project MK Ultra has nothing on him.
