I Scour the Internet: The Pre Presidential Election Edition 11/5/12

While scouring the internet (yes, on my knees) I happened to come across an idle rumor. Now, I can't vouch for this rumor (which would be soooo funny in a "how far the mighty has fallen" kind of way if it were actually true) but it appears the Browns may be relocating to a rather small town north of where they currently live.

Now, this place is stuck in the middle of a sand infused no mans land that looks like a - excuse my giggling - double wide heaven. But wait, from Google maps I can actually see a rather large CUDDLE SAC! Is this the cul de sac mentioned by the Kody kids so many months ago? Will Kody be building his McMansions there, or will he just plop down 4 triple wides (he IS a reality star after all) and call it a day?

We won't know for sure until the season starts...in 13 days. I'm getting excited now!

PS, to protect the innocent residents of this town, I will not divulge its name, but it does appear to have 1 large government facility and what appears to be a rather large school within its town limits. Just down the road is another huge government facility. Could this mean our boy Kody has finally hooked himself a real job? Or maybe, a wife is finally getting her 'dream' job. Well, we will have to wait and see!!

I know Cynical Jinx has already posted the two tweets showing that twit Kody with his hair pulled back. You know Kody, if you could make that plyg tail into a side pony, Andy Cohen might invite you on his WWHL show. And I think he pays for appearances!

Is it just me or does Kody always look like he's got a chaw of tobacco in his mouth? Anyway, Kody without his signature hairdo IS embarrassing. Just cut it all off and go bald!

Oh dear, looks like Robyn trying out a new  attention getting tactic...Now it's the things she's thankful for tweets until THANKSGIVING.

Every night? Even on Kody's night? I can't wait to read what Robyn has to say about Kody when it's his turn.

Each time I read this tweet, I wonder why doesn't Robyn know this answer? I mean, isn't she getting a cut from amazon.com and itunes?

Leave it to Robyn to get a picture of the Las Vegas Strip instead of Hunter at his first varsity game. Nice touch, but couldn't you have said "Go Hunter" instead of "Go Bulldogs"?

You know, if y'all had been forward thinking businesswomen, My Sister Wife's Closet would have been the perfect answer to that question...By the way, is that 'exclusive' Sisterwives Christmas tree ornament available in the online store yet? You know, I'm beginning to think that's why the ornament says Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas...that way your customers can still use it for New Years if it arrives late from the store.

Ah....the perks of being a sisterwife...at least for Janelle, Christine and Robyn!

What a pity, no new philosophical tweets from Kody "Dogma? I don't need no stinkin' dogmas" Brown. He's probably looking up some new words, so we'll see him after Christmas.

On the subject of Christmas, I just had a thought. Are the Browns going to rent another McMansion for Christmas? I have a novel idea, how about the Browns save money and just celebrate in their own homes for a change? You know, like the regular folks do.

Hey DakotaJustice! Janelle likes Kody's new look, too!

I hope Janelle wasn't depending on Robyn to take photos of Hunter playing football. She did, however, get a shot of downtown Vegas though...

Here's an article that asks the provocative question : Are Browns Succeeding as Ambassadors of Modern Polygamy?

So on this note, we bid adieu until next time... and remember, I Scour the Internet, so you don't have to, y'all.

  1. "Plyg tail" cracks me up! The bit about the ornament saying "Happy Holidays" in case it is delivered late is hilarious, too! Great post!

    1. Hot? He has a huge head (wonder what it's filled with, because it isn't brains), so I'm not sure he'd look "hot", but I'm sure it'll look a lot better than the surfer dude/scare crow look.

    2. Kody couldn't look hot if he were doused in gasoline and set afire!lol

    3. Then that would make him smoking hot Anonymous ...Lol NOT!!! It makes him look more like his older brother tho....

    4. I don't think Kody is all that bad looking. It's his personality (and principles) that makes him ugly. I think he and his brothers are okay looking fellas.

Now, I'm going to run and go hide ... LOL

  3. Actually buying land in an undeveloped area that is accepting of trailers (zone restrictions in many places) is a good idea for this family. If they aren't going back to Utah, then this actually makes sense. If they did get 4 trailers, each family has their own space, Kody gets to see his extended family daily and his kids get more access to him. If this is what they are doing, this actually seems logical and practical. If it's near all those governmental facilities, maybe Janelle can get a job there since she has governmental job experience. Honestly this seems to be a very smart decision. Of course, Kody will say the trailers are 'temporary' until they can get their dream houses (with wet bars for the nondrinkers) built...but I can see this working. And possibly being within their budgets.

    1. I think it sounds like a great idea. Possibly a singlewide for Meri, doublewide for Robyn and Triple for Janell and Christine. Why not a singlewide for Kody and then each wife can come see him and he could keep his clothes in just one place. I know not realistic but actually manufactured homes might be the way to go then they could maybe afford to stay in them after TLC pulls out.

Does his mean that the kids would have to change schools again?

    2. The only town I can think of North Las Vegas Is Indian Springs. This town has an Air Force Base on it And to prisons. I cannot imagine them moving their family To this town. The government test site is out there also... Then 45 minutes from Indian Springs Is a little town ..Beatty ..... this is a mining town when the mine is open

    3. I totally agree with you, CPA Carol. Moving the show setting to a small Nevada town, living like the locals in unpretentious mobile (or namufactured) homes in a true "compound" with every family member being within a few steps distance from each other, may give this show the energy shot in the arm it needs.

And Sissy,I also like your idea about Kody having his own single wide 'man cave' where his personal effects can be centrally located. But I still think Kody should continue to sleep at a different wife's house each night.

Manufactured homes can be quite nice, especially if configured to accomodate 1 husband, 4 wives and their younger children. Hey, they could even start a business...

      Delete
    4. I too think this would be a wise move. A REALISTIC financial move. But oh no, I can hear Meri pleading for her triple wide now! ;)

I am familiar with the place being hinted about and it is not close enough to where they live now to be able to drive all those kids in to school every day.

  10. Should be interesting if they all really are actually downsizing to *more affordable housing*.. if any of this is true!

    But, call me a cynic....
I just don't see this group happily going from single, not so shabby homes, with bedrooms for all and a few with pools, just on the fringe of busy LV....
To trailer living in the middle of nowhere. They have tasted fame, entitlement, and acquired "stuff."
Easy to turn all that off? Doubtful!

Okay, this back-to-nature/*finite* resources plan may be doable for the very little kids, but what about the pre-teens and teenagers? How do they continue to wrench these older kids from one reality to the next....???

Guess we shall see what SW's latest version of "Days of Our Lives" will be.

Yeah, but it would make for great tv! Meri's pouty face that she has to share air with her sisterwives. Robyn's pouty face because she realizes her life with Kody has started moving backwards instead of forward. Kody's pouty face because the locals haven't a clue who the hell he is. Christine and Janelle sitting back watching it all, and laughing their heads off!

    3. 5th wife - Totally Agree about mobile/manufactured homes. My grandparents had a beautiful one. I would enjoy the simplicity of having a mobile home and some land. No judgment here! None of us are superior to others based on the type of housing we have, that's for sure....We were only talking about the wet bar because Meri said she wanted one which many of us thought was odd since I don't think the Browns drink. I honestly think this would be the financially wise move for them. I just wish they could do it without moving the kids from their school and friends again.

      Delete
    4. True, 5th wife...The trailers weren't the issue....it was the dichotomy of living in large single homes now and then applying for even more lavish, individual McMansions w/wet bars, craft rooms etc....
To then going back to finding communal space perhaps in trailers, or an arrangement like they had in Lehi.
*IF all of this is even true* But time will tell.

However, I do hope that TLC realizes that 2 or 3 episodes devoted to the KodyKrew house-hunting again and then the madcap packing up......
And then cameras following the cars on the highway * AGAIN* will NOT be a ratings-getter.

  12. If this is true, it probably is the best move for them financially, however it would be sad for the older teens. Just judging from their tweets, Aspyn, Mariah, and Maddie, seem to love their school and Hunter seems to love playing football. Heck Aspyn and Mariah are the only 2 in the family who ever talk about going to work. Maybe that is why these 2 are the ones who frequent Disneyland so much, Because they work to pay for it. It would be a shame if they have to leave a school that they love, because of their parents poor financial decisions. Can you imagine what it must be like for them. They have been at this school for almost 2 years and are probably just now beginning to shake off the stigma of being the plyg kids, only to have to start the process of being the freaky family all over at a new school. These folks need to get somewhere and stay put for the sake of those children.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But that's exactly what they did before! In Lehi, the kids were settling down in public school, except Mariah who still wanted to go to the church school that first season. The next season when Kody told the kids they were moving in 3 days to Vegas, Hunter wasn't the only kid who was crying - there was another boy who was upset too. If this rumor is true about the family moving to a small town, it will just be history repeating itself with these people. It's sad, but the women will always do what Kody demands and if he says to move they will move. Kody only makes sure his needs and wants are met. The wives are left to deal with the children. That is truly the face of polygamy Kody has presented to the American public. Those poor kids, I really have pity for them.

  13. If you look at the TLC page, you have to really kind of dig to find the SW page and then there is just a small “season premiere Nov 18” notice. Looks like they are doing a day long marathon leading up to the premiere but there is no episode description of the premiere show.
It think it’s probable that this is the last season for this show. TLC isn’t really promoting it and neither are the “Cast of Characters”. And there is really not much more to explore, we kind of all know how the ‘lifestyle’ works (or doesn’t) and there just doesn’t seem to be any big storyline that would keep the audience’s interest. Another wife would be interesting but at this point, do any of us think that is a good idea for any of their emotional health? And for what, to have more babies that they can’t afford and another wife to house?
I honestly hope they are getting that piece of land and settling down in trailers/manufactured homes and stop all the nonsense about mansions with pools and settle back into their lives. Hopefully a few of them can get jobs and give the kids some semblance of a normal life again. They have all been through a total whirlwind of unnecessary drama and chaos. I think they all got way in over their heads with thinking about what kind of money and celebrity they would get from this show. Totally Agree with bamaview, I feel bad for the kids, especially Hunter who had such a hard time moving to begin with….he has finally found his place there in his high school (making Varsity football) and now that will all be taken from him again when they move again. Really depressing if you think about it. I think we, as viewers and SW Blog contributors, really hate to see the pain they are putting their kids through.

    1. All I can say is I cannot wait for a tell all book to be written about Kody and Krew. I have a feeling what we are seeing is only the tip of the total crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if this is the end of the line, that Kody DID try to get more money and was shot down. In fact now that the Darger's are going to make an appearance, I predict they will be the next stars of a polygamy show on TLC.

TLC most likely is holding up their end of what's left of the contract with the Browns, but not spending much if any money to promote them. That TLC facebook page looks like its being maintained by an intern who can only spare a minute or 2 each week (on Thursday) to work on it. It looks like the Browns already have jettisoned their facebook fanpages except for the Sisterwifes Closet one, and that's only a matter of time.

As far as Kody's marketing business is concerned, it wouldn't surprise me if Kody didn't pour a huge chunk of his TLC income into that business in order to qualify for that company car. Kody would have to sign up Nevada and Utah in order to afford living in those mansions in the cul-de-sac. That venture has gone as far as it can, unless he plans on expanding into Canada and Mexico.

Yep, I think this is the end of the line for all involved.

    2. When they told kids they were moving in three days, kids were acting too. How do you pack up a 3 households without 15 kids noticing? Impossible.

    3. When they told kids they were moving in three days, kids were acting too

Actually, I believe the kids were not acting, that they were showing genuine emotions of shock and surprise at Kody's announcement of the move to Las Vegas.

How do you pack up a 3 households without 15 kids noticing? Impossible.

I've suspended my disbelief to come to this conclusion. Considering the haphazard way Kody "planned" the move (including a decision to delay leaving which angered Janelle and Meri), and that not all household items were packed, I doubt very seriously the adults had already started packing when the children were told. It looked like a rushed job to me, and a very badly orchestrated rushed job at that.

      Delete
    4. I doubt the kids were acting, they are ot professional actors, none of the ones except the teens say more than just a few words on camera. I think the older ones have learned in the last year what to say and what not to say. There is no way that Hunter faked his reactions to this move, his new 'Mom' and all the upheaval.

      Delete
    5. I seem to remember the older kids were told in advance. Anyone? Not that that made it any easier on them but would explain how some discreet packing got done.

      Delete
    6. OK, I went back and viewed S02Ep7. This was the episode where they went to the cabin for Christmas. At the very end, Kody says that they made the decision to move and only the 4 oldest teens were told. The camera then showed Logan, Mariah, Maddie and Aspyn. Apparently Hunter was also included in the elder teen group later.

In episode 10, the younger children were told 3 days (according to Kody's voiceover) before the move. The older children, now including Mykelti, are stone-faced. The smaller children, including Garrison and Gabriel start to cry. Mariah starts to cry. Ysabel hugs the crying Mariah and starts crying. Anyway, it was too heartwrenching a scene to be result of children "just acting".

Sorry if I gave you more info than you needed Amy, but that was one scene from this show I'll never forget as it was totally, absolutely so unnecessary to move those kids away from their friends and school under false pretenses. Kody knew he wasn't going to be arrested. He just wanted to move to Vegas.

    7. CPA Carol, do you feel that TLC was complicit in this train wreck at any level? Who do you believe, or perhaps know, pursued who in putting the show together? TLC and the rest of the reality-show machine undoubtedly become big business, and many of the situations and people they've chose to expose may not be in a position to handle all that comes with that exposure, to include the pay (real or perceived), that may or may not come with it.

There's a good chance that I too would come across as a bumbling fool if my life were suddenly put on stage for the world to view and scrutinize - especially so if I had a network prodding me to do things (stuff they came up with I came up with myself) that would keep viewers' interest.

    8. Anonymous 12:41pm the Browns' book offers some insights in how the Sister Wives show came to be. The production company contacted Anne Wilde of Principle Voices for leads on a family. She suggested the Kody Brown family. As far as who's at fault for Sister Wives, look no further than the Browns, especially Kody. Janelle has even said that doing a reality show was ok as long as you had a good production team like they do who listens to them. So the Browns have to share responsibility with the producers.

      Delete
    9. Anonymous 12:41 asks me a good question! Do I think TLC is partially responsible for the train wreck that this family has become? I think that’s a valid question. Yes, I think TLC (and other reality show producers) ‘prod’ families into situations that generate ratings and drama. I also think that 20 years from now (or hopefully sooner) there will be laws in place to protect children/minors in these shows. Right now since they are ‘reality shows’, I believe there are no ‘child labor laws’ in place. Most of the kids in these shows (Jon and Kate Plus 8, the Duggars, HBB, etc) are being exploited for the sake of money and ratings. I think most families go into these shows thinking it won’t change them and it will be a wonderful experience for the family. (I seriously doubt any of these families, Browns included, purposely set out to make such a mess of things). But eventually the money or hope of a big payout does change families – it just does, not matter how grounded and ‘real’ people are. I think we will see lawsuits down the road from some of these reality show kids and then laws will be put in place to protect the kids. And I am not clueless here, I do understand the hypocrisy of me saying this and the fact that I watch the show and read the blog and comment on the family and following the adult’s tweets (I stopped following the kids thinking it was somewhat intrusive to their teenage privacy, my teenager would not be happy with random strangers following her tweets). It’s a very fine and complicated line and I get that.
The Browns are uneducated and fairly naïve. Despite being polygamists they used to lead a relatively sheltered life in Utah. I think TLC likes to portray families like this and does, to an extent, take advantage of them not having agents and lawyers and PR people. It’s cheaper and easier to do a show that way. I do think they make ‘suggestions’ to make the drama more dramatic and probably go so far as to suggest things to ‘engage the viewers’. Real life with this (and most) families is just not that interesting. If TLC did a show about my life, there would probably be a blog about how stupid the CPA Carol show is and do we really think Carol is a CPA? In other words, gosh yes, I would be susceptible to the same thing as the Browns.
And in a way, the reality shows make things worse at the end for these families. Now that they are D list/minor ‘reality’ show stars, finding a ‘regular’ job will now become more difficult to find, at least until the celebrity wears off. Think of Jon Gosselin who had a hard time finding work and finding a good enough job to pay his child support payments. Not defending him, I really didn’t care much for that show, however, it did change his and Kate’s ability to make a living. I mean, who amongst us wants Kate Gosselin checking our vitals at the ER? Yikes!
I am rambling….just offering up my thoughts here…

    10. By the time a "tell all" is written about the Browns, there will be so little residual interest in them that it will end up being an article in People or Vanity Fair Magazine at best.

    12. I think most reality shows do help make a mess for even the most stable families, and most reality show families are not stable or they wouldn't get a reality show to begin with. Some make it thru better than the others (the little couple, the Rolloffs will both end up in the same spot they started). The Gosselins imploded (may have ended up that way anyway). The Duggars have gone off the deep end, it may take years for the fallout to occur. The Brown family was clueless financially and other ways before this mess even started. But I am not sure that the wives won't just continue to suffer even after the show ends. The good thing about the show is that the kids may get more opportunities to strike out on their own than they might have otherwise.

  17. No, they are not succeeding haha! People went from thinking that modern polygamy in the U.S was just the prarie dress wearings members of the FLDS who live on compounds and are surrounded by abuse, to now thinking that the Browns are the norm of polygamy. It just traded one unfortunate view of polygamy for another. The stereotypes are largely the same, even after Sister Wives started airing- welfare abuse and fraud, living beyond their means, procreating without a care and the submission of woman and children. The FLDS, the Browns and the Dargers, as well as families like theirs, are reasons why I don't tell everyone I meet in person that I'm a polygamist. The Browns just show a different side of polygamy than the FLDS do but it's still not a good side.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Bellarina, I respect that you know what you're talking about, as a polygamist, but I honestly couldn't lump the Dargers in with the Browns, not to mention the FLDS. Theirs seems to be a well-rounded, cared for, fit, educated, healthy family, who work and provide for their children and have raised them honourably and with respect. The Browns are an entirely different story.
As for the FLDS, I think sexual abuse and paedophilia is on an entirely different level to anything either the Browns or the Dargers may do that people consider inappropriate or irresponsible. There is just no comparison.

      Delete
    2. I should have been more clear, I'm sorry. I don't think the Browns are nearly on the same level as the abuse scandals you hear about in the FLDS. And I have seen clips of the Dargers and very much respect the way they have raised their kids. And I appreciate the fact that they work. I just meant that even with Sister Wives airing, the general stereotypes of polygamy haven't changed much. I mean look at most of the comments here- largely speaking, people are not any more accepting of polygamy now than they were before Sister Wives. The Browns aren't abusive or anything but they really haven't shown much of a good side to polygamy either. While I have more respect for the Darger family adults than I do for Kody, I still don't think that they show an upside to polygamy. I do like however that they all live together which at least makes it possible for them to be more of one family than three seperate families. I haven't read the Dargers' book so please correct me if I'm wrong, but one of the wives spoke about her depression and eating disorder, and one of them was previously married to a man with many wives and children that he didn't take care of, right? I don't generally tell people that I have a plural family because stereotypes like that don't represent us and I don't like to be asked "Oh, so you're Mormon?" all the time. Those are still the main perceptions that so many people have of modern polygamy.

      Delete
    3. Bellarina,

I have to totally agree with you. I don't think most of us (myself included) are accepting of polygamy, BUT and this is a huge BUT, at least for me, if it were shown in a good light I would be much more open minded.

If I saw a family such as yours where everyone works and takes care of the kids and saw that the wives were healthy and happy, I'd see nothing wrong with that.

When we're constantly shown unhappy children, women that have any number of psychological issues, jealousy, likely eating disorders and kids that aren't receiving time with their father, help from him or attention, I have to think that isn't a good plan.

Usually I'm very much a live and let live person and I know as I'm sure we all do, families with 1 mother and 1 father where things are wrong or single family homes with issues also. I just think when a lifestyle is different it's harder to accept when all the issues are put out there on TV shows or in the news. So far except for you and what you've said, I've not been exposed to polygamy done right so I can only base my opinions on what I've seen of it done wrong.

I hope that makes sense and doesn't offend anyone.

  18. Just seeing his ugly face makes me want to vomit. Knwoing that the women tolerate his mistreatment of them makes me sad and confused. Seeing the women ALLOW him to mistreat the children and put his selfish needs before those of his family makes me so very angry. And for what? Some dodgy planet eternity bull that they seem to believe in. Will I watch the next season? Most likely not. Will I continue to read and enjoy this blog, absolutely!

    1. I don't think Kody is ugly physically really, he's just an ass. I really don't see what any of them see in him, especially now. Religion can really suck sometimes especially when it makes no sense whatsoever.

  19. I really wanted to see a modern version of polygamy and had hoped that it would be functional. But, all the Browns have revealed that the members of their family or the adult members are insecure, jealous, viscious, and extremly unhappy. Also, it proves that one man with multiple wives and multiple kids cannot provide emotional or financial support to those families. Or as Kody says, Janelle's kids, Meri's kid, Christine's kids, and Robyn's kids. This is three single women and one married woman and they are all in one adulterous relationship.

  20. Anony 9:28, that's exactly what they're in, adulterous relationship. I don't understand how breaking God's commandment can bring them closer to Him. Let's go break the law to bring us closer to the sheriff?? I see a man who wants to prove what a man/stud he is by getting to sleep with 4 different women on a revolving basis, and show his virility by having so many kids. He, of course, justifies this by his so-called religion and has brainwashed the women into thinking this is what "God" wants also. What a con-man, in my opinion. That's one sales job he's good at, brainwashing. He really should change his name to Me, me, me, it's all about me.

  21. I really liked the show during the first 2 seasons. Then Kody showed himself for what he really is, the worlds biggest jerk. They are not succeeding in convincing me at all that polygamy is a great lifestyle. The final straw for me was when Kody said that disgusting thing about Christine and the nacho's. I once had someone say to me the reason why he cheated was because of the way I looked. Christine needs to dump Kody just like I dumped him!

    2. My heart went out to Christine, but she handled it well. If that was me I would have knocked his teeth out & pulled the last few pieces of straw off his head. But thats me.

  22. Hahaha...Something's wrong with this picture. Meri tweets for a store that sells Christmas stuff but that Sister Wives Christmas ornament Meri told everyone about is still not in their online store!

  23. You know what would skyrocket ratings? If Christine or Janelle left the family and received a large amount of child support. That would show Meri and Robyn who's boss. I would watch it.

    1. Child support from what source of income? Kody is the proverbial turnip.

  24. I just found this blog so forgive me if this question has been asked - and answered - previously: Does anyone know how Robyn's ex feels about his children being on this show? Does he have ANY relationship with them? It's rather odd they call Kody "Daddy" and have really only known him for a short time. It's as if their real father has vanished?

    1. I know he's a Jessop and all, but I actually have some respect for the guy since he's keeping such a low profile when he could have been doing tell-alls. I would be interested in knowing the true story of Robyn's first marriage...

As far as I know, no one seems to know how Robyn's ex feels about the kids being on the show or whether he has any relationship with them at all.

Someone else may know more, but I've not seen anything on him. I think he's to be respected for not trying to make a buck off this train wreck and shopping his own tell-all or asking to appear on the show to give his side.

  25. When Kody talked about Christine being this fat girl eating disgusting greasy food....well, it sort of went antithetical to what the wives had proclaimed earlier about Kody liking portly women. It's so strange how the women all join up to do exercises to lose weight and granted they all need to shed some pounds, but up to that point, they all thought they were secure in their relationship based on his previously indicating to them that skinny women or even healthy looking women are not his cup of tea.
I do have to say that Janelle does seem to look like she is losing a lot of weight and I am hoping that she is able to objectively assess her life and see that she doesn't need to surround herself with all of those losers. Kody, Meri, and Robyn are all three control freaks who stoop to bullying and manipulation to try and get their own ways and Christine is just an idiot. She is humiliated on national tv and is made to grovel for an entire season and she still kisses their rear ends. My hope is on Janelle, so here is my little message to Janelle.
    Dear Janelle,
You are so not like the other three women in this very unhealthy plyg relationship. For one, you have shown that you can support yourself, while the other three women are couch potatoes. Also, you really do seem to value your children's self esteem and their mental health, something that I don't see coming from the other wives. Finally, you could be so much more without having to contribute your very finite resources to Christine's kids, Robyn's kids, Meri's kid, and all of the adults. I say, move on out and get your life back on track.
    Very sincerely yours,
    Anon.

  26. As far as the living situation it is not difficult to figure out where the Browns selected their personal home in Las Vegas. Google "pinnacle homes" and you will see the models. In fact Mona the realtor braga that's she is realtor to the Sister Wives.

    1. Mona is probably the smartest and hardest working businesswoman who's been showcased on Sister Wives. I don't believe the Kody Browns were ever going to move into those homes. All that filming at the culdesac was nothing but free advertising for Mona and her realty business. It's like those cable channels that show homes for sale 24 hours a day. Only these were high end homes and the advertising was free on a high rated TV reality show. Mona and the Browns knew those houses were way out of their reach, but it made for good reality tv. People got to understand that celebrities, even 3rd rate ones, don't usually advertise to the general public where they live. The Browns were naive when they moved to Vegas, letting the audience see the actual rentals, but that was back then. Now good luck trying to figure out where they really live once they move.

  27. This post may not interest all since it is not a slam on the SW, but as a Bulldog mom I just wanted to reply to the comment made about Robyn tweeting "Go Bulldogs" rather than "Go Hunter"... In my posts I never single out my son. He is part of a team out there. He would be insulted if I just told him good job and not include the other boys that busted their asses out on the field. So I applaud Robyn for tweeting the way a Bulldog Mom does. As Hunter knows he is part of a larger family, The Centennial Bulldog family. GO BULLDOGS!
