Sister Wives MLM!

  1. You know, if they would just say "We were looking for a good opportunity to enable us the financial freedom to work together as a family and this company offered that" I would have respect for that.

But to spout off garbage about saving the world, courage, confidence and hope is just a bunch of crap and makes the whole operation seem nothing but shady.

Which I am certain isn't far from the truth.

  2. Wendy, that's about how I see it.
$250 a pop. Wonder how much they make?
Guess they will get a free cruise.

People will flock to be on a cruise with them. That is sad.

Anyone want to go and report for us?

  3. Woo boy! I'ma get me a cruise!

Where do I sign up? The Browns are the healthiest people on TV!

  4. I agree Wendy, I think almost all reality tv people have the idea to sell something, books, detox crap, jewelry, beauty lines, shoes, bags, you name it they sell it. But we do have a brain and the power to say hell to the no:) Just looks desperate to me.

  5. I'm glad Pretty in Pink found this.
    I'm sad people will pay.
They are NOT the healthiest physically, emotionally, or any other way.

  6. Well, there are currently only two LIV salespeople worthy of the LIV Sweet 16. Throw in all the Browns who can read, and you've got a dream team of health and wellness!

Let's see that wonder diet pill next week!

  7. What is the LIV sweet 16?

  8. OOOHOH! It's *Meri* who's the "1K Manager." Girl, you are hustling for four, so get out there, girl!

    http://www.livinternational.net/People/Recognition/RankAchievement.aspx

I didn't think it would be Meri. Then again, maybe TLC just blew 1K on diet pills for next week and she is managing the flock until they lose interest.

I know what you mean, it is sad. There will always be people either desperate for answers/money or gullible enough to follow along like sheep. That is exactly what these schemers are banking on, literally.

  10. Ugh. This is repulsive.

    1) "The Kody Brown Family." What about the BROWN family? That's how every other family calls themselves--by the shared last name. It's not all about just one member. Oh wait, I forgot--this is the Browns we're talking about. The Kody Browns.

    2) They capitalize Troops. This tiny little detail might be what makes me the most irate. "Troops" is capitalized only when it refers to OUR troops, i.e. Troops of the U.S. Armed Forces. It is capitalized as a way of honoring the individuals (Troops) who make up the group (also Troops). "Let's rally the Troops and show our support" makes it sound like they're talking about a patriotic and/or other deeply worthy cause, NOT a pyramid scheme for vitamin-enriched energy drinks. Speaking of which...

    3) As with everything--their polygamist lifestyle, their TLC show--EVERYTHING in their self-centered little life--the Browns try to make it seem like they are doing good/saving the world/doing the Christian thing by doing it. This, IMO, is what really separates them from the Duggars. When the Duggars want to volunteer, contribute, or "give back," they actually do so, even if it's not exactly how you or I would choose to do it. When the Browns want to "give back" (or at least put on a big show like they're giving back), they sell energy drinks in a pyramid scheme to make money for themselves.

"Liv is a company that is gathering a community of people to help the world be a better place"--bullcrap. They assist those who suffer from "addictions, poor health, and from financial challenges." Wow, like the Browns? Assisting them--you mean, assisting them by SELLING them stuff (either energy drinks or "business opportunities")? Now that's charity. Mother Teresa would be proud.

Oh, and I love this: ..."ultimately helping each individual to have more courage, confidence and hope and to know 'who they really are.'" Wow. Now that's not ambiguous, not ambiguous at all. Forget feeding the hungry, forget donating actual money or time to a REAL cause. Forget putting food on someone's table or water in someone's cup; Kody is going to teach them "who they really are"!

Rant over. Excuse me while I go barf.

  11. How many people were desperately messaging them Sunday on facebook, just so the women would go, Hi, Suzy!, or whatever there name is.

Those are who they will be selling to.
BTW - their facebook went down.
Guess the couldn't keep deleting the not perfect messages!

WHAT IS IT THAT THEY ARE SELLING?
    Colon Cleanze?
I think it hurt them Kody bragging how he could sell ANYTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  12. It lists Kody Brown as a 2K seller, and ROBYN SULLIVAN, not BROWN as a manager.

    Where's Christine and Janelle?

So is that how much they have sold last month?

    "Where's Christine and Janelle?"

I'm not big on ripping on people for their appearance, and with this family they definitely give us enough to not even go there.

But let's be real. How effective would two very large women be in selling health products, particularly diet products? My guess is that they will stay behind the scenes until (and if) they take off a good deal of weight.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh lord. Is this why we're seeing them at the gym next week? So they can shill their snake oil?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Has anyone ever used this stuff? What is it for?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Mimi said: "What is it for?"

LOL, it's for confidence, hope, courage and to know 'who you are'.

It will bring the end of addiction, financial hardship, poor health and abuse.

Yes, that is right folks...it will put an end to abuse. If you are being abused, no need to call the police! Just down a LIV drink and pop a few pills and your abuser will transform into a benevolent, understanding and warm person.

    I guaran-damn-tee-it!

  17. Wendy, LOL @ your post!

I still think they would have a viable business if they just sold their own drinks with pictures of themselves on them. Meri Mango, Christine Kiwi-Strawberry, Janelle Jujube-Pear and Robyn Raspberry. Oh, and Kody Coconut-Ashwagandha, with extra ashwagandha for masculinity.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh man, I knew it!! I posted earlier that his unwed Wives would be listed under him...I'm sure they purchased a lot of product themselves bc afterall they do get commission. I'm sure Robyn will lose her baby weight fast, then We'LLC know if she had a boob job or not, bc those will be the first to go if she didn't get em done ...lol
Kiska, I was wondering why KBF Fb page was gone. I just thought they unfriended me, so I was just devastated bc I didn't know who else I could turn to to be inspired & find out who I really am .....NOT! !! Hehehe
But ur probably right about trying to keep up w/ deleting "negative " comments, etc...
I'm thinking Robyn is finally having Solomon & they just didn't want to deal w/ possibly crossing the TLC lines..or. maybe their FB flock started doing research on Liv International & started asking hard hitting questions they wanted to avoid ...lol

  19. So he gets to get cabin upgrades, so many that he can go on a cruise all by himself selling product and bonking new potential "wives". Doing the godly thing. Somebody neuter this thing. Only proven border collies are allowed to breed; so should it be with humans. He doesn't make the grade.

  30. Caramel Brownie--
I totally agree with you on how addictive this site is. I wonder if Liv energy drinks could help me with my addiction??!

I honestly wonder who in their right minds gets into these multi-level marketing schemes. To know that they have a 98% failure rate (as someone mentioned) and STILL sign up...boggles the mind. The Browns might be an exception, but only because of their fame.

My guess would be that the Browns would be primarily trying to sell business opportunities for Liv, not individual supplies of the product. You probably get a LOT more bonus/encouragement/reward for selling the whole franchise rather than just the drinks. I bet the cruise is part of that--trying to reel people into the business.

  31. Oh snaps KodysFavorite, now that's hilarious. We'd prolly have to spend $1000 to get results& then we'll be addicted to spending $$ on nonsense.,.hehe

  32. Kody...I love your show and your adoring love for your wives. I was hoping to make you a spokesperson for Men's 35+ Balm. It's one of Mobu Herbals products that is perfect for the busy man. It helps with prostate support, Heart healthy and natural Libido support. With four wives and all your children...I think you could use about a jar a day. lol.

  33. Network Marketing is about three things:
    a) Finding People to talk to—Prospecting.
    b) Talking to the people you find—Presentation.
    c) Teaching others to do the same—Duplication.
