The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

OK, I've got to get at least SOME reaction of my other favorite show. I can't decide what I think of Taylor - victim or manipulator?

  3. I think that Taylor going on and on about being broke when she was little is very telling. Part of me wonders...did she dump him when she found out he was broke?

  5. Okay, I'm calming down (and saving my comment on notepad just-in-case).

Taylor, Taylor, Taylor. I think she did dump him when she realized no more money AND she and Russell were being sued. And we can never really be sure what was happening with Russell and her claims of abuse cuz he's gone now.

And yes, I agree she is a manipulator. Rumor has it that when she met Russell, she was using the name "Taylor Ford" and directly implied that the Ford was the automobile family Ford. And that was confirmed by one of Russell's friend on a news talk show immediately after Russell's suicide (Dr Drew? maybe).

The first season of RHOBH, Taylor described her marriage as a business arrangement. And I remember reading that Russell needed Taylor in order to be the front person for his business ventures (I believe because he had been sued recently, he couldn't get investors if they knew he was directly involved). I think she dumped him when he got sued again, and this time the suit included her name! Basically, the b**** is broke and still being sued for diverting more than $1 million from investors in a joint company with Russell in order to finance their lifestyle (like a $60K birthday party for their daughter). Bravo needs to say adios.

  6. Ha! This is my other favorite show too! I guess we like a good train wreck.

I thought she was a victim dumb blonde until I saw some of her interviews after the death. I'm not sure if I could even get out of bed and she was everywhere all the time.

She obviously had a very professional plan to deal with the lawsuits and make some cash on the media circuit off of this terrible story. It was then I realized she is smart. Smart like a fox and she will say and do anything to put herself in the spotlight. Her answers were scripted and they were all perfect. At least he didn't have any money for her to steal.

  7. Mister Sister, I had written a longer post this morning when I was commenting on this. When I hit post comment it took me to a page that said something like "Cookie transformation null". Then when I hit back page, it was gone. No worries!

Most of my comment was about how despicable I think Taylor is in doing these interviews. It is very disrespectful to his family, her family and their friends. I am not making light of the abuse (if it is true), but waiting six months before doing a tell all, duck bill tour would have been IMO more appropriate.

Sorry for the snark - I can't get past the duck lips.

  8. Oh, so my "manipulator" comment was in response to your question in your post. I think she is a manipulator.

  9. But Anne, according to Andy Cohen her duck lips are like pillows!
