**ENLARGED WORDS FROM PHOTO Inside the polygamy lair Documents seized from compound paint creepy picture of cultist

EXHIBIT 50E
Jeffs wrote instructions on how this bed, found on the top floor of the limestone temple at YFZ Ranch, should be built, specifying a plastic-covered mattress and a pedestal that didn’t make creaking sounds.

EXHIBIT 28C
Prosecutors believe that Jeffs held orgies in this bath, which he termed a “baptismal font,” with groups of his wives. Prosecutors played for the jury an audio recording that they said was of Jeffs having group sex in the bath.

EXHIBIT 9.88
A 15-year-old “spiritual wife” of Jeffs wrote the self-proclaimed prophet this adoring letter. She looks pregnant, and authorities say DNA tests on her son confirmed that she was indeed impregnated by Jeffs. The girl is now 20.

EXHIBIT 22H
Jeffs lived in the so-called Big House on the YFZ Ranch, which prosecutor Eric Nichols touched on in closing arguments: “Mr. Jeffs had his big house, where he chose to warehouse hundreds of girls and women for his sexual gratification. The state of Texas has a big house too, and that is where Warren Jeffs should spend the rest of his days.”

  1. Thank you for the posts!

I ran into this little interview quip with a woman, Susan Ray Schmidt, that escaped polygamy and authored a book; His Favorite Wife: Trapped in Polygamy, provides an interview and responds to questions about the TLC Reality Show Sister Wives.

There is a video of the interview with the article.

"On the show Sister Wives all of the women look like they're happy and get along just fine. That's t.v. that's not reality."

Fox keeps updating the bride slide show. This latest batch clearly shows very young girls. Faces blurred to protect the innocent thankfully.

  3. He may of beat Tammy Faye and her wimpy man on spending money. Speaking of which, where do they get theirs? I heard they used the welfare, yet it said somewhere in the trial mess, they didn't. They have a vast fortune. HOW?

the bed shows what a boring lover he is - must be straight stationary, no rolling around, it's too little!

  4. That house plan isn't easy to read. Can I have a nicer one please? How many levels is this thing?
GEEZ. Did all his wives live there? What happens to his old ones, like his age? This would be one thing if it was a porno flick, but this was a church, with him intermixing religion with pleasing him sexually, like "G-D: wanted them too, it's just sick. they whole dang group is sick to let it go on, and mourn his loss. They all must be into it.
    No other explanation.

  5. Someone tell me what that last sentence says. I gather she wants "favor" with him ie sex, but there's a couple of words I'm not sure of.

There's a lot of information about where FLDS gets its wealth. A good place to start would be

  7. Hey there Mister Sister. From what I can see (this girl had a weird way of writing her o's) her letter says:

    Dear Warren,
I rejoice in Heavenly Father for the privilege to help raise one of His and your precious ones, living for the approval of Heavenly Father. It is my yearning prayer to be an instrument in the hands of Heavenly Father in bringing forth clean and pure children, full of faith. I love you and live to do your will and please you. I pray to do all that I do as you did it, for I know all that you do is done with Heavenly Father guiding you. We pray to have the gift of oneness that we can soon have your presence and be ready to go forward with you. Yours Forever,

What I find unusual is that there are no mispellings. I wonder if all the girls copy the same letter to send to "Warren" when they got pregnant. It wouldn't surprise me. I think Weirdo Warren probably got off reading these letters with the girl's pictures. Sick Sick Sick...

  10. To a 15 yr old girl, living in that house would be a fantasy, vs some other 55 yr old man's creepy house.

  11. I think it says "ready to go forward with you".

All the news says the followers are not abandoning him, at all. Terrible, sick news. You think that two big convictions, one being their prophet to 119 years, would wake these people up and send a big message to stop the abuse!

Soccer mom, you are right because many of the women said that Warrens wives would not associate with them etc because they were more special, the wives of the "prophet". But really, no comparison is needed, it is sick rather the house if fancy or not!

CJ! I just saw your transcripts. Yeah its all weird poor girls and him feeling so sickly special blech
